A record you can build on

Understand your water. Track changes over time.

Well Water NC helps homeowners coordinate private well water sampling and testing. Keeping your reports gives you a record to reference when water quality changes, treatment equipment is added, or follow-up testing is needed.

Tell us about previous results, filters or softeners, staining, unusual odors, taste concerns, or discoloration. We confirm the scope before collecting your sample.

Basic annual testing

Ask about a panel covering:

  • Total Coliform
  • E. coli
  • Nitrate
  • Nitrite

Your written quote confirms the tests included and the total service price.

Additional testing options

  • Lead and copper
  • Iron and manganese
  • Hardness and selected minerals
  • pH and turbidity
  • Conductivity and total dissolved solids
  • Expanded laboratory testing by request

Availability, sample requirements, and pricing depend on the tests selected.

Know what your testing covers. No single panel tests for every possible contaminant. We identify which tests are laboratory analyses and which are informational field measurements.

Simple steps. Clear documentation.

01 / PLAN YOUR TESTING

Tell us about your home

Send your address, preferred date, previous reports, treatment equipment details, and water concerns. We confirm the panel and price.

02 / COLLECT THE SAMPLE

Arrange property access

We collect water from an appropriate sampling location. Operating plumbing and access are required. Any special preparation is explained before the appointment.

Keep a useful water record

Receive laboratory reports for laboratory-analyzed tests and separate documentation for field measurements. Timing is confirmed for your selected panel.

Common homeowner questions

Is this testing for homeowners or mortgage closings?

This service is intended for homeowners checking their private well water. If you need testing for a mortgage, refinance, or real estate closing, tell us before scheduling so we can confirm the required sampling and documentation.

Can you sample water from a home with filters or a softener?

Yes. Tell us about your treatment equipment before the visit. Sampling before treatment, after treatment, or at both locations depends on the purpose of your testing.

Are all the additional tests included?

Only tests listed in your confirmed quote are included. Additional parameters and sampling locations may carry separate charges.

What will I receive?

For laboratory testing, you receive the laboratory report for the parameters analyzed. Any informational field measurements are identified separately. Keep these records for comparison with future testing.

What happens if a result needs attention?

The next step depends on the parameter and reported result. Further investigation, corrective work, or additional sampling may be appropriate. Retesting is a separate service unless your written quote states otherwise.

Does a water test certify the entire well system?

No. Results apply to the sample collected, its collection time and location, and the parameters analyzed. Testing does not certify well construction, pump condition, sustained yield, or future water quality.

How much does annual testing cost?

Pricing depends on your location, selected panel, and sampling requirements. Send your address and requested tests for a quote before scheduling.

Your next step

Schedule your annual well water test.

Send your property address, preferred appointment date, and any water concerns. We’ll confirm the testing options, pricing, and availability.

Well Water NC provides independent sampling and testing coordination. Laboratory reports and informational field measurements are identified separately. Results reflect the sample and parameters tested; they do not guarantee future water quality.
